What to Expect with Mountain View Volleyball Club!

Hey Volleyball Enthusiasts! Ready to join the Mountain View Volleyball family? Here’s what you can look forward to this season:

Try-out Fee: $25.00

Season Dates:

Season starts Nov 24th, 2024 and runs to the end of May/early June, 2025 depending on provincials and nationals.

- Sept 8th, 2024: 18/17U Try Outs (18U: Sept 1, 2006 - Dec 31, 2007; 17U: Sept 1, 2007 - Dec 31, 2008)

- Sept 22nd, 2024: 16U Try Outs (Sept 1, 2008 - Dec 31, 2009)

​

- Sept 29th, 2024: 15U Try Outs (Sept 1, 2009 - Dec 31, 2010)

​

- Oct 20th, 2024:14U Try Outs (Sept 1, 2010 - Dec 31, 2011)

​

- Oct 27th, 2024): 13U Try Outs (13U: Sept 1, 2011 - Dec 31, 2012)

**Please sign up for whatever age category you feel comfortable with if you fall in that Sept-Dec sweet spot. If you'd like to attend both try outs, only one try out fee is required but please let us know if you'd like to attend more than one**

Up to 3 Practices Per Week:

Get ready to sharpen those skills! We hope to offer up to three practices per week. If we register for an exhibition tournament, it will take preference over the third practice.

​

Reliable and Knowledgeable Coaching Staff:

Our coaches are top-notch! We will regularly bring in experts to work with our teams, ensuring they get the best training possible. We will have a regular coach at each practice/premier to ensure someone is always present that will know each individual player and where they will fit best.

​

Tournaments and Competitions:

Participate in 2-3 Premiers (depending on age category) and Provincials. Nationals will be charged separately if teams decide to participate. As mentioned above, we believe the best way to learn is by doing and therefore participating in exhibition tournaments will be a high priority but may be charged separately. 

​

Team Jerseys:

Look sharp on the court with two jerseys that are locally sourced and high quality—one black and one blue.

Awesome Swag:

Enjoy personalized swag to ensure the team shows up looking professional, including a personalized hoodie, tee-shirt, sweat pants, and backpack. Show off your team spirit in style! We will host some fan stores throughout the season so that family members can purchase swag as well.

Additional perks:

Leading up to the season, we will be hosting recreational volleyball every Sunday that doesn't have a tryout scheduled and this will be an added benefit but since it's a recreational program it is NOT included in your club fees.

Cost:

12-13U - $1,800.00 +GST

14-18U - $2,200.00 +GST

​

Payment options available: (For the 2025/2026 year, we will offer any families intending to re-sign with our club an option to prepay in the off season)

DRAW PAYMENT (DOES NOT INCLUDE GST)

- 12-13U Draw payments: $1000 at signing, $600 December 1st, $200 March 1st. 

- 14-18U Draw payments: $1000 at signing, $700 December 1st, $500 March 1st.

MONTHLY PAYMENTS (DOES NOT INCLUDE GST)

12-13U: $600 deposit required at signing with $200.00/month payment plan due the 1st of each month starting November and ending April.

14-18U: $700 deposit required at signing with $250.00/month payment plan due the 1st of each month starting November and ending April.
